1. Accepting these terms

These terms govern your use of Tarnwake, a single-player boat game for iOS. By downloading or playing Tarnwake you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

2. Your license

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and play Tarnwake on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. Tarnwake is offline and has no accounts, subscriptions or online services.

3. Pinecones & unlocks

Pinecones are the game's collectible, gathered only by sailing voyages, claiming honors and the daily haul. They are spent on boats, refits and pilots inside the game.

Pinecones and everything unlocked with them have no real-world value. They cannot be purchased, sold, traded, transferred or exchanged for anything outside the game, and nothing in Tarnwake is sold for real-world value. Deleting the app resets them.

4. Fair play

You agree not to:

  • copy, modify, redistribute or resell the app;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the game or its saved data;
  • use the game for any unlawful purpose.

5. Ownership

Tarnwake's code, artwork, music, sound effects, names and design belong to its developer. The skippers on the Standings are fictional. Your license lets you play the game but does not give you ownership of any of it.

6. No warranty

Tarnwake is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the same extent, the developer is not liable for any indirect or incidental loss arising from your use of the game, including the loss of saved progress.

7. Audience

Tarnwake is a family-friendly casual game suitable for general audiences. See the Privacy Policy for how the game handles data (it keeps everything on your device).

8. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be on this page with its effective date, and continuing to play means you accept it.
